ATTENDEE GUIDELINES
A respectful environment reflects sincerity, discipline, and the honour of seeking knowledge.
⸻———————————————-
📖 REMINDER: This Is Not a Social Event
This conference is a knowledge-based gathering focused on the Qur’ān, Sunnah, and the methodology of the Salaf.
It is not a social event or casual get-together.
• Children and adults are expected to listen attentively.
• Come prepared with a notepad and pen.
• Parents must ensure that their children are seated and listening, not playing or causing distractions.
• Help us maintain an environment of adab, silence, and focus during all lectures.
⸻———————————————-
✅ WHAT IS EXPECTED FROM YOU
• Arrive on time and register before entering.
• Use only the designated entrances and exits.
• Bring a prayer mat or small rug (chairs are limited).
• Respect all venue staff, volunteers, and fellow attendees.
• Keep fire exits, side doors, and pathways completely clear.
• Supervise your children at all times – no running or climbing.
• Remain seated during lectures. Avoid blocking aisles or crowding spaces.
• Use the bins provided – leave no litter behind.
• Park only in approved car parks – do not park in nearby residential streets.
• Follow all announcements and volunteer instructions.
• Do not rush towards the shaykhs before, during, or after lectures.
– They will be escorted by security. No one is permitted to approach the stage.
– Respect their space and energy. They are teaching for long hours and need rest.
⸻———————————————-

• ❌ No shouting, debates, or interruptions during lectures.
• ❌ No banners, flags, or unauthorised signs inside or outside.
⸻———————————————-
🧹 CLEANLINESS IS PART OF ĪMĀN
We do not have hired cleaners. The venue was rented under strict conditions.
Help us maintain cleanliness for the sake of the da’wah:
• Take personal responsibility for toilets, wash areas, and floor spaces.
• Use mops and cleaning supplies provided if there are any spills or messes.
• Do not leave litter or food packaging behind.
• Let’s leave the venue cleaner than we found it, in shā’ Allāh.
⸻———————————————-
🚨 HEALTH & SAFETY REMINDERS
• 👉🔥 Fire exits must remain unobstructed at all times.
• 🚸 Children must stay with a responsible adult – no wandering alone.
– No noise or loitering near toilets, entrances, car parks, or the field areas.
– The council operates 24-hour CCTV, and any complaints from neighbours can result in the event being shut down.
• 🧯 Follow all emergency instructions and exit calmly if directed.
• 🚻 Please report any toilet issues to a volunteer and help maintain hygiene.
• 🎒 Keep bags, rugs, and belongings tidy to avoid trip hazards.
• 🆘 For any issues, speak to a volunteer or go to the registration desk.
