STARTed 8TH FEBRURAY. CHILDREN’S PRAYER COURSE

Children’s Prayer Course – Outline (click to expand)

This course will introduce you to the essential knowledge and skills that every Muslim, young or old, needs to master, the second most important pillar of Islam: Salat. This is the pillar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“The first thing for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Judgement will be his Salat…”

“That which differentiates us from the disbelievers and hypocrites is our performance of Salat. He who abandons it, has disbelieved.”

“Command your children to pray when they become seven years old, and discipline them for it (prayer) when they become ten years old…”

Therefore, it is imperative that every Muslim learns how to pray correctly, following the example of our Prophet ﷺ. The course is packaged in a manner to engage 7 to 16 year olds.

In this course, you will learn about:

  • The purification for the prayer: How to use water, ablution, tayammum, and ghusl to prepare yourself for the prayer.
